The Wildwood boardwalk is THE best boardwalk in New Jersey. No contest, hands down! It has the best rides, a huge choice of food and goodies, games galore, and it’s super long so the fun keeps coming.

Whether you’re taking a ride on the Sea Serpent, splashing down a water slide, eating a sausage sandwich, or playing a game to win a prize, the Wildwood NJ boardwalk entertains everyone!
With the Wildwood Convention Center at one end, lots of amusement piers, fresh cut french fries, cold and creamy ice cream, pizza by the slice and more, you’ll laugh, grab a bite to eat, and have plenty to do.
I love the game Fascination, while my son likes claw drop games. I like the fill the water balloon games, while my son likes to spin the wheel. I’m a fan of air hockey or the rollercoasters, while my son likes water slides. I love playing the Poker slots at Gateway 26, while my son loves to shoot tennis balls at the BoatTag game!
I love a slice of pizza, my son likes cheesesteaks. I like Smoothies, and my son likes ice cream. At the boardwalk, we can each find our own favorites. We always agree on fresh cut french fries! You get the picture…tons to do, tons to see, and it’s all waiting for you.
Hop on the tram car and you can give your feet a break. It will take you the full length of the boardwalk. Get on or off it wherever you choose. A small fee does apply, and we always find it a great value. You can buy round trip tickets for extra savings. “Watch the Tram car please…Please Watch the Tram Car!”

The boardwalk is a fun place. There’s so much to do. There are rides for big kids and small kids. There’s games, food and more. Let me show you my absolutely favorite part of the boardwalk! Are you ready???

Want to jump on and ride with me? Oooh, I love this floorless coaster that’s full of twists and turns. There’s a lot of great food on the boardwalk, but don’t eat right before you go on this adrenalin pumping ride! The Nor’Easter will give you a jolt!!!!

What’s Wildwood, without the Wildwood Tram? It’s actually called the “Sightseer”, but it’s known as the Wildwood Tram, and if you’ve been to Wildwood, you’ve heard this before….”Watch the Tram car, please watch the tram car!”

Thanks to John for posing for this picture, and allowing me to post it on the Wildwood Summers site!
The Wildwood Tram will celebrate 60 years!

The Wildwood Tram runs the full length of the boardwalk. You can pick it up anytime you see one and only pay $2.00 for a ride in one direction. If you get round trip tickets, you can save money- then it’s only $3.00 for both directions. It’s a long boardwalk, so it’s a welcome site when your feet are tired!
We love the Tram, so we’ll often park at the end of the Boardwalk so we can take the Tram to the other end! Sure we could park down there, but it’s more fun when you take the Tram. Don’t worry if this one’s full, another one will be coming along shortly! They run the Trams in both directions, and they run all summer long daily until about mid-September, where you’ll find them on weekends only.

To my son, the boardwalk means games. He loves playing at the arcades and trying to win prizes!

Boardwalk fun includes games, good eats and rides! I love to people watch too.Games come in all different types, and prizes call out to kids walking along! Mom, Dad…can I play! Watching a child win a prize is a blast.
Maybe your a guy trying to win a special treat for your girl! Every girl loves when her guy gets wins her something! What will you go for? There’s the stuffed animals, as well as wins for Coach purses! Half the fun is finding that perfect game to play. Do you like to spin the wheel, toss rings on a bottle, or play crane games?
It’s fun to watch people play the Fog Bog game! Slam your mallet down, and see if your frog can land on a floating lily pad! Splash! Oh well, maybe next time. At the Wildwood Boardwalk, there’s plenty of fun games to play!

Here are some beach boardwalk pictures I grabbed last summer. I absolutely love this mural that’s painted on the side of a building right on the boardwalk! It’s so vibrant, all while having a serene feel. Don’t you just love the turtles?

Want to see another picture of the beach? People are always having fun at Wildwood, and sunbathers are no different. Jump in the ocean and splash in the waves! It’s all about family fun at Wildwood, New Jersey.

Wildwood has won top honors. There was a contest to nab best beaches in New Jersey, and Wildwood swept the competition. In fact, the people of New Jersey have spoken and 3 of the top 4 spots belong to the Wildwoods. Wildwood came in frist place, Wildwood Crest in second, and North Wildwood made it to 4th place. Nearby Cape May, NJ was in 5th place.
That’s a lot of great beaches all wrapped up in one Wildwoods package! Imagine that, all three sections of the Wildwoods won best beaches of New Jersey! Is it any wonder? Clean, free beaches, a great boardwalk, plenty of entertainment and lots of good eats!
The New Jersey Shore beaches are often overlooked, but when people take the time to visit, they’re often surprised at just how great our beaches are! It’s no surprise to most of the NJ residents! We don’t need a New Jersey beach guide to tell us what we all ready know! We do want to get the word out for other people though.
Come visit our Jersey shore beaches, and you’ll be delighted. Wildwood is a perfect new Jersey beach resort, since it has something for everyone! Not all the beaches in New Jersey are free, but Wildwood beaches are! Not only are they free, they’re huge, and super clean!
The Southern New Jersey beaches are also close to Cape May, which is a hugely popular Victorian-esque beach town. Looking for beach rentals? New Jersey has a bunch, so just pick an area you’d like to stay in, and we’ll help you do the rest! In Wildwood, New Jersey a beach house is an option, as are many different hotels which come in varying different styles.
If you haven’t enjoyed the fun Doo Wop feel of the area, you’ll love seeing the retro styles and neon lights! The are so many Wildwood and Wildwood Crest New Jersey beach hotels to choose from, there’s something for every budget!

Who Am I?

Hey, I’m Deb! I grew up going to the Jersey Shore every year when I was a child. We would take two vacations, one in June to LBI, and one in August to Wildwood. My family used to stay at the Pink Champagne Motel right in the heart of Wildwood, NJ. I remember being in awe of the neon lights in Wildwood, and loved seeing the pool lit up at night. We had a lot of good times there. A silly little memory I have is of the old Coke bottle machine, back when you used to still get glass Coke bottles, and you opened a long slender vertical door to get your soda out!
The boardwalk amusements kept us entertained at night. We’d go on the rides, play games and get yummy snacks. Wildwood was where I celebrated graduating high school. A group of my friends went down to Wildwood, and we had a blast. It was THE place to go. As an adult, with children of my own Wildwood is a natural choice for entertainment. The Jersey Shore has so many different options, and just like my parents did, I’m now finding myself visiting both beaches once again. We visit LBI and we visit Wildwood each summer. Summer just isn’t the same without our favorite Jersey areas!
