Wildwood Yacht Club Regatta

Get your Yacht on! IT’s the 71st annual Great Wildwood Yacht Club Regatta….and you can join in. It takes place at Sunset Lake which is in Wildwood Crest at New Jersey Ave. Here’s the scoop:

Time: 10am to 2pm

What’s going on? It’s the Mid-Atlantic Racing Associaion Championship. This event is being sponsored by the Greater Wildwood Yacht Club.

Wildwood: Hobie Cat Races

The Wildwood Classic Cup XXV Hobie Cat Races take place on August 15 and 16. You’ll love watching the colorful view as the Hobie Cats sail by! There’s no cost to watch, and you can find more information by calling 609-923-1355.

Wildwood Baby Parade!

The Wildwood Baby Parade is celebrating 100 years! That’s right, it’s actually been a tradition since 1909…now THAT’S history! You can be a part of this 100 year anniversary celebration in the Wildwoods.

Registration is at 5pm, and the parade starts at 6pm. You can register at the Wildwoods Convention Center.

Enjoy the parade starting at the Wildwood Convention Center as it goes up to 16th St in North Wildwood.

Miss North Wildwood Competition

If you’ve wanted to see a beauty competition locally, the Miss North Wildwood Competition takes place on July 15th at teh Sunset Bay Restaurant. Enjoy a competition and luncheon. Event takes place at noon.

Swim for the Dolphins

This annual event “Swim for the Dolphins” is in its 13th year! This event is a fund raiser and raises awareness of and for the Marine Mammal Stranding Center. With support from the Wildwood’s Beach Patrol, it’s a fun event that combines elements of safety. Great combination!

There is an entrance fee to participate.

Wildwood Fishing Tournament

Want to take part in a Wildwood fishing tournament? The Duke of Fluke Fishing Tournament is celebrating it’s 16th year. This is the biggest fluke tournament in all of South Jersey! If you’d like to take part in this event, it’s happening July 10th and 11th.

Wildwood: Dance Competition

In Wildwood, enjoy a dance competition at the Wildwood Convention Center. The National dance competition finals are taking place during the week of July 6th through the 11th. This fun “Dance Xplosion” takes place daily from 7am to 11pm, and offers free admission. Different dance studios from all over will be competing to win prizes, including cash. Who will win?

Wildwood: Fireworks on Fourth of July

While Wildwood doesn’t need a special occasion to enjoy fireworks, and has them on a regular basis, this display is one you won’t want to miss. This Fireworks display will be spectacular. Be sure to get a great view….the extravaganza takes place at the boardwalk at Pine Ave. The event starts at 10pm.
