This year marks the 25th year for the Annual Wildwood Kite Festival! It’s going to be a great event…not only do you get to enjoy a kite festival from 9-5 Saturday and Sunday, but there is also an Unlocking of the Ocean Ceremony taking place at noon, which starts the official summer season.
Come to the Wildwoods Convention Center and at noon you can be a part of the event to unlock the ocean, along with heading over to Rio Grande Ave on the beach to check out all the great kites…
If you want an early start, Friday night will be a 9pm illuminated kite fly!

Love kites? The Wildwood International Kite Festival is the perfect way to spend your weekend! May 22 through May 25th, you’ll want to join in the fun. Friday starts teh fun at 9pm with an illuminated night kite fly! How cool is that? There are also activities planned for the weekend from 9am to 5pm.
